Communications
CICEET’s goal is to get useful tools into the hands of end users so that they can effectively address coastal management problems. In addition to any planned outreach or technology transfer activities, CICEET strongly encourages all project investigators to develop and execute a simple plan to communicate your project’s progress and results. You should also list all of your communications activities in your semi-annual progress report.
FAQ: I want to get the word out about my project but I don’t have time to develop materials—can CICEET help?
1 ) Project brief: Whenever possible, CICEET will develop a one-page, four color brief about your project. A writer will interview you and develop a draft of the brief for you to review. CICEET will use the finished product online, at conferences, and at meetings. You are welcome to use it as well. Here’s an example > 2) DIY brief: In the event you want to develop a one-page brief, CICEET has created an MS Word template that carries the CICEET brand and has space for you to include the brand from your organization. CICEET is happy to provide editorial review. Download the template now > 3) CICEET PowerPoint slide: Please include this slide in presentations related to this project. We update the messages on this slide, so please check back periodically to see if there’s a more current version to use. Download >
