CICEET Progress Report for the period 03/01/02 through 08/01/02
Project Title: Innovative Technologies for the Measurement of Fluvial Input of Nutrients to Estuarine Systems
Principal Investigator(s): Theodore C. Loder III
Accomplishments
Scheduled Tasks:
Complete final report.
Progress on Tasks
- We completed analyzing all the data in preparation of the final report. We are continuing to edit the third draft of Ms. Erin Penfold’s thesis which will constitute the final report. She and I have met and should complete the report during the fall semester of 2002.
- We continue to share data with other CICEET groups working on the Great Bay System and nutrient input questions. Some our data was used by Autumn Oczkowski for calculations of nutrient fluxes in Great Bay as part of her master’s thesis, partially funded by our present CICEET grant.
Difficulties Encountered
Progress has been slower than anticipated because Ms. Penfold has a full time job. She and I are presently working on editing her third draft.
Anticipated Success in Meeting Project Objectives in Scheduled Project Period
We do not see any problems in her completing her thesis and the report during the fall semester of 2002.
Preliminary Results
All data will be disseminated in the Final Report.
