Application Process

Step 1: Review the Request for Proposals page on this web site. If you have any preliminary questions about CICEET’s goals for this funding opportunity or the type of project we are seeking, please ask us.

Step 2: Prepare and submit a preliminary proposal. CICEET has created a preliminary proposal guide to steer you through this process >

Step 3: CICEET will review your preliminary proposal for compliance; proposals deemed “non-compliant” will be eliminated from the competition. You will be notified of the outcome of compliance review by email.

Step 4: A multidisciplinary panel of intended users, collaborative research experts, and scientists in appropriate disciplines reviews compliant preliminary proposals and recommends which proposals should advance to the next stage of the process. You will be notified of the panel’s recommendations via e-mail.

Step 5: If your preliminary proposal has been recommended, you will be invited to prepare and submit a full proposal.
