CICEET invites proposals to its FY 2008 Environmental Technology Development and Demonstration (ETDD) Funding Opportunity. This program has two broad goals:

• Develop and/or demonstrate technology to detect and quantify the impacts of human activity on coastal water quality, species, and habitats.
• Develop and/or demonstrate technology to protect coastal water quality and/or restore coastal habitats.

Mitigating Shoreline Erosion along Sheltered Coasts
CICEET invites proposals to its FY 2008 Mitigating Shoreline Erosion along Sheltered Coasts Funding Opportunity. This program seeks to support research and outreach that will provide a better understanding of how to use different erosion prevention measures to protect sheltered coastlines from the impacts of rising sea levels and waves generated by extreme weather, as well as to protect, preserve, and restore ecosystem function.
